Camp Volunteering

There are so many blessings one can receive from being involved in a Bible camp. As a camper and counselor I made many new friends.  As a counselor I watched lives start to change after being exposed to the gospel for only one week.  It is odd but true that camp is the only place that some of these kids even hear that Jesus Christ was a real person and not a swear word.  As campers came back year after year, I could see how they had grown on their own by leading of the Holy Spirit.

Volunteering at the camp is one of those life experiences that will stay with you forever.  Year after year many of our leaders return to provide the camp with their own brand of leadership. Allowing for such diverse and often entertaining involvement, many of the cabin leaders as well as the people attending the camp benefit from this unique  experience.  Through Riverside Bible Camp all of the leaders go through a stringent and demanding learning process.  It sounds difficult and at times it is but as some leaders have stated there is nothing like seeing someone come to the Lord.
